Versace is one of the very first fashion houses to launch home interiors in 1992. Since then, the brand has created a home collection expanding into clothing for the bedroom and bathroom, furniture, wallpaper. Additionally, adding a wide variety of host accessories from candles to vases and even sculptures.
This year, the powerhouse has further extended its home line with a new licensing agreement with Lifestyle Design Group - an Italian home design division of the American Company Haworth Group. Lifestyle Design will officially be producing and distrusting Versace's Home Furniture, announcing its first collection releasing in 2021.
Donatella Versace reveals: "As a designer, the idea that Lifestyle Design will be making our furniture is very exciting. When Versace Home launched, we wanted everyone to be able to experience the lifestyle of Versace not just through our fashion, but also in their homes. We will now be able to be more ambitious and grow the collection even further thanks to the expertise of our new partners, and this makes me very excited for the future ahead of us!"
The collection acknowledges Donatella's love of opera and stage – furthermore acquiring bold dramatised designs that the Versace house has distinguished over the years.
